The Vacancy & Rental Rate Survey  is collected and published twice a year - in the June and December issues of RentalOwner magazine. The Survey shows average vacancy rates by sub-market and average rents throughout the region. The Vacancy Survey is a useful tool for gauging the performance of the rental housing market. This survey data is available dating back to 1958.

The Multi-Family Fee Survey is a study of the fees incurred by multi-family property owners throughout the county. The survey includes information on fees such as business license taxes, sewer fees, water rates, trash rates, recycling fees and inspection fees. In addition to providing a general overview of the costs associated with the ownership of rental housing, the survey also serves as an indicator of the attitudes of our local jurisdictions with regard to rental housing.
