36th Annual Education Conference & EXPO 2010!The San Diego Convention Center was converted into a “Hall of Champions” on Wednesday, May 19, 2010 when the San Diego Rental Housing Industry came together for a full day of seminars, exhibits and networking. Over 2,000+ attendees filled their sports themed passports with stamps in an effort to win a $1,000 cash prize. They attended six free seminars and visited with over 190 exhibitors on the EXPO floor. At noon, the crowds gathered to cheer on their favorite technicians at the Maintenance Top Tech Challenge sponsored by Ferguson Enterprises.
The day-long event started with a 9:30 a.m. ribbon cutting ceremony with SDCAA and industry VIP’s snipping the ribbon with giant scissors. The day rounded out with the 4:30 p.m. Economic Forecast with California Real Estate guru, Alan Nevin. Along the way attendees were treated to demonstrations, prize drawings and unique product samplings that help keep them on top of the newest products and services for the rental housing industry.
One of the highlights of the event was the announcement of the 2010 EXPO Exhibitor Booth Awards. Many exhibitors competed and the following is a list of the winners:
