As an industry leader, the SDCAA provides products and services that address the needs of the Rental Housing industry. The SDCAA is committed to supporting the community in our region. Our members and staff play an active role helping strengthen the quality of life where we live and work.
As part of our efforts to give back and help those in need the SDCAA supports programs that help improve lives in the community. These causes reflect the values that are intrinsic to the SDCAA and its members who care about improving and contributing to the community.
Ronald McDonald House
The San Diego Ronald McDonald house has been instrumental in providing housing for families with ill or injured children. This year’s golf tournament raffle benefits the Ronald McDonald house. To donate to the Ronald McDonald house, click on the link below.
Veteran Housing Programs
Beginning in 2016, the SDCAA pledged to work with both the City and County of San Diego to promote incentive programs designed to encourage landlords to make units available to homeless veterans. Many SDCAA members have answered the call and hundreds of veterans have been housed throughout the region. However, more units are needed for this vulnerable population. SDCAA continues to partner with local governments and community organizations to promote programs and incentives to help house veterans and other homeless individuals and families. Rebuilding San Diego
SDCAA teamed with IREM this year to help rebuild a home for a local family in need of assistance. Rebuilding Together San Diego provides critical repairs and renovations for low-income homeowners across San Diego and provides life-changing programs. For more information, click here.
